First, I dont believe that they or anyone who talks about the upholding of Islamic laws in Pakistan has a genuine point. Can we implement Islamic laws in a state which is not a social welfare state ? A state where people are dying of hunger, millions living way below poverty line, can we implement the rule of cutting off the hands of a thief ?
